I have said from the beginning I’m not a fan of EB at all, especially as a HC candidate. He’s extremely hard on his players, but doesn’t seem to have the other side which makes players want to run through a wall for him.

From what I’ve seen, which is limited to interviews, videos of him, and commentary from the media on him, I don’t think he’s built to be a HC at all. He doesn’t seem like someone who can lead a football team. I’ve gotten a bunch of hate for the take before, and probably will again, but please, don’t let this man be the HC of our team. He’s not HC material.

Crazy how great Sam has been this season even after our o-line has removed his strongest trait, longer developing deep passes. His ability to adjust and improve is astounding. Less than 2 months ago people were blaming him for most sacks, look at him now.

Deni has shown in 6 games what he couldn’t in 3 years before. He has shown the ability to not only dribble (with both hands) but actually use him handles to consistently beat dudes. He’s been aggressive driving to the rim, which he couldn’t do before, and has shot incredibly well (still holding out on this because his form seems inconsistent). He’s 22 ffs.

I think our FO knows all of this, and won’t be stupid and trade him away. I’ve been very pessimistic about Deni since after his rookie season, especially given the rumoured way they were crowning him and treating him like royalty (comments from Dinwiddie and other sources). It’s his time now. No more Beal, no more Rui, it’s truly his team. You saw the way Kuz gave him the ball right back after he made a mistake last game.

Trade away any guys that have real value. Build around Deni, Corey, Bilal. I love Gafford and actual don’t want to get rid of him, but if the offer is great, you have to let go.

The FO knows that the only thing that can make the wizards relevant again is complete tanking. Lose as many games as possible, get the highest odds for the first pick.
