3P pull-ups and c&s, step-backs, drives, post-ups, lightning speed fast breaks, nice assists, dunks and defense.

I think he looks quicker, stronger, more self-assure… and his touch also seems to be improved.

Let’s just hope it continues this way

Fuck, we’re already at the point of making 12 game highlight tapes. This is a great sign for our lottery odds :).

3:00 and 3:26 are the best ones to me. Driving hard to the lane and I think he actually planned to make that pass but the defender bit and he had enough momentum to just keep it and go all the way, albeit awkwardly, for the dunk. That’s a great example of how being a great passer comes back to you as a player, cause then the defense has to respect what the possibilities are.

Then at 3:26 he almost catches and throws that laser pass to Corey in the Corner for 3 in one motion. Corey and him have done this before and they seem to know what time it is. The pass winds up being perfect because if he threw it to Corey’s shooting pocket, the defense might actually be able to get to it. So the pass is safe, and Corey adjusts and immediately gets the shot up. I found the previous highlight of them doing that but it’s a streamable link and those go down after a year.

Not ready to say he’s born again hard yet cause in half (6) of this season’s games he’s scored just 9, 10 or 11 points. But if you look at the first 12 games of last season 11 of the 12 games he scored in single digits. And his attempts are up to 119, compared to the first 12 games of last season where he only tried 66 shots.

The team has no consistent scoring threat outside of Kuz. Gaff could get you 12 or 13, or have next to no impact. Jones can be counted on for one floater a quarter. Kispert is coming off the bench. Poole has nothing going right now.

Now is the time! 99 times out of 100, your teammates are gonna back you up if you take more shots and hit more shots, especially if you’re the one with the best matchup. If you’re the one with a good shot. And Deni is the longest tenured Wizard! Hopefully tonight he shows us something. Get me a 30 ball!
