They knew they needed a guy. Idk if Deshaun is the answer, which no one here was happy about btw, but they definitely knew Baker wasn’t the guy.
I mean I might be bias but look at him over in Tampa, they haven’t beaten a single good team team this year.
Anyways, so they went for a guy they think who could be as they say elite, so they told baker they weren’t giving him another contract. He got mad about it (not saying it wasn’t justified) and it seemed like he lost the locker room anyways so he requested a trade and the team allowed it as they got Deshaun.
And now we’re here.
Both sides are in better shape so it ended up working out, even though the people of Reddit believe the Deshaun trade is an absolute failure.
Truth be told I think browns fans are happy and Baker is happy so it’s not a big deal imo.
Rest of the AFC North rn
Go Chargers! Beat those Dirty Birds!
No Conklin, No Chubb, No Watson, 5th and 6th string Tackles Inconsistent and some of the worst QB play all season.
DTR/PJ/Rusty Watson
Old man Hunt/Ford Tough/P Strong
COOOOP/Some other guys
Chief/4th down machine
THE GREATEST BROWNS DEFENSE OF ALL TIME.
MYLES. FUCKING. “MVP”. GARRETT.
Browns 7-3
This is the craziest fucking year as a Browns fan.
Uh no, the Rookie needs more reps, he’s only going to get better.
I put 100 on the 9ers and I was the happiest person ever to lose 100 bucks the next day.
Hell I might do it again.
If that’s the sacrifice it takes for the Browns to win, I’ll fucking do it again!
10 team PPR
I have Mahomes and Dobbs,
Buddy just lost Burrow.
Give: Mahomes, Romeo Doubs
Receive: Tank Dell, Bijan Robinson
Thoughts?
They’re all damn hypocrites, and then I made a post pointing it out and suddenly I’m the asshole for saying they got karma for celebrating a team losing their QB.
Like yeah I don’t give a fuck about Deshaun and who cares if he loses his arm but I also recognize he was probably taking this team to a Super Bowl and any team losing their QB for the season is kick in the nards and every other team in the league decided to pile on.
If you’re gonna talk shit about the Browns all the time then idgaf what happens to your team.
Why didn’t the Bengals try to get a better backup?
Why are the Bengals paying a guy who’s hurt all the time?
Burrows not hurt he just wants to sit out after getting the bag?
Is Joe Burrows contract the worst of all time?
Anything else I missed?
Is Tom Brady smashing the guitar?
I would like to know the percentage of fans who wanted to keep Dobbs before the season vs those who liked we got a 5th round pick.
Also Dobbs got 1 win in Arizona and it wasn’t until he got to Minnesota he became a freak of nature, which was after the trade deadline.
I’m gonna blame them for not getting Brissett, I don’t care about a 3rd round pick we needed a vet, but If you told this sub 2 months ago that we are definitely gonna need Josh Dobbs you’d be laughed at.
The worst part about this win was that Nick Chubb wasn’t there to tote the rock to victory.
God damn I miss that man.
Do it for Chubb boys, win the whole freaking thing. Go Browns.
