As someone who is just starting in photography and mostly shooting friends. I would 100% send you the money back if I cannot commit to a day. There should be no reason why they shouldn’t, especially if they canceled on you. I had to cancel on a coworker because of work and they 100% understood and we made plans for a week after.

Communication is key and they obviously struggle with that.

In my opinion. If you are in a wedding party I would avoid wearing an Apple Watch and switch it out for something a little more timeless. I know when I take photographs of people I make them take their AW off just so it looks a little more timeless. A big computer on your wrist looks silly. But if you aren’t being photographed then AW is fine.

I wear an ultra all day long but if I’m in a formal party it’s being switched.

100% this. I always was looking for light but you are looking for shadows to place your subjects. You don’t want harsh light on them. But if you place the subject two feet into the shadow with all the light around them it makes a great photo.

I mean I took a picture of someone in the park the other day watching a skyline from a bench. Their face isn’t show in the picture and it is just their silhouette. I think stuff like that you don’t need consent really because they won’t know it’s them anyway. But if it is blatantly obvious then I would ask. It is very hard to do but I am always respectful and I always offer the picture to them if they would like it.

I haven’t yet but I am going to print some stuff from mpix. I heard that they do a great job from a few professionals that I have talked to.

I got the 50mm 1.8. My next purchase would be a 70-200mm. But I am doing just fine with the 50mm
