1·2 years agoIf everyone (including Jaden) is healthy I feel like we could sweep OKC in a 7 game series. SGA might win one or two games just through sheer willpower but we match up really well with them.

Minnesota Timberwolves@nba.space•Leonard Miller tonight: 36pts/36reb/18ast and 100% FG (per36)English
1·2 years agoThey get to practice with guys like Ant, KAT, Rudy, and Mike though. That’s probably more valuable than playing heavy minutes in the G League.
Also, we’re a legit contender this year. Putting in prospects when other guys give you a better chance to win just doesn’t make sense. If guys get in foul trouble or injured then they might get a shot to step up but ideally they shouldn’t see the court unless it’s garbage time.

1·2 years agoThis is a good point. Per 48 he’s averaging 48/48/24 (also on 100% shooting).
So… he’s basically Wilt if Wilt had full control of his limbs and he was playing in a wheelchair league.

NBA - Main@nba.space•How many number 1 picks actually lived up to their draft position?English
1·2 years agoGoing back to the 80s, I’d say these guys 100% DIDN’T live up to the #1 pick expectations. Some for their play, others because of injuries:
- 89 - Pervis Ellison
- 95 - Joe Smith
- 98 - Olowokandi
- 01 - Kwame
- 06 - Bargnani
- 07 - Oden
- 13 - Anthony Bennett
- 17 - Fultz
- 18 - Ayton
These guys could be considered a letdown for the #1 spot too but it’s up for debate:
- 80 - Joe Barry Carroll - Warriors traded Parish and the pick that turned into McHale for him. Had questions about his effort early in his career and left the W’s to play in Italy for a year. Made 1 all star team but overall had an odd career.
- 88 - Derrick Coleman (only 1 all star team)
- 00 - Kenyon Martin - Overall a solid player from a weak draft class. #43 pick Michael Redd was probably the best player from that draft.
- 05 - Bogut - Good player who had a good career but looking back CP3 and Deron Williams would have been picked before him.
- 14 - Wiggins - Very similar to Bogut. Above average role player on a championship Warriors team, but not quite the sustained production you expect from a #1 pick. Embiid probably would’ve gone #1 if it weren’t for injuries, and Jokic was in the same draft but you can’t really blame any team for passing on him. Nobody really thought he’d be a generational big man back then.
- 16 - Ben Simmons - Great player but has slowly gotten worse in basically every way since his rookie year.
- 19 - Zion - We’ll see. Health concerns coming into the draft are still the same. He has the talent but if he doesn’t stay on the court that talent doesn’t matter.

1·2 years agoWelp, GGs to the Suns. Not impressed by our guys tonight but given last night’s game and the Suns shooting 9000% I’m not gonna read too much into it. Get the bench guys some run and move on to the next one.

1·2 years agoMan, we just don’t have it tonight. Super physical game last night, Ant’s cold, Suns are shooting the lights out, everyone except Jaden and KAT look gassed… If we don’t heat up fast Finchy should just let the bench play out the 4th.
