I love fachwerkhauses and you captured it perfectly

Yeah, you got it right. Just wish there was a detailed guide on it like other games communities do.
If for say, your maxed armor strat was actually the most optimal method (which it could be), the supposed optimal play guide would detail stuff like:
-how to find bastions the most optimal way -how much gold you need, where to get it quicker -what equipment to have before trying to loot a bastion -how to optimally avoid/fight bastion mobs and reach loot chests, for each different bastion type -around how many bastions you’re expected to loot before maxing your netherite gear
Maybe I’ll study and experiment with this myself and write my own optimal play guide somewhere sometime.
Do you think it’s more optimal to get your diamonds/diamond gear from end city chests, and skip the diamond mining process as a whole? Or would that be too unreliable and dangerous?
When people are good enough and know min maxing strats they can get full enchanted netherite very quickly
The one ish has done, which is probably the one you’re talking about, is actually very good and unique. The thumbnail looks sort of clickbaity but it’s great content overall
recently I realized that most modern, snaller minecraft youtubers make videos in the exact same way and that has annoyed me. Like, written like a narrative, video essay or mrbeast video
I didn’t search a lot for this, but I think it’s a great example:
Factorio devs go out of their way to code a super complex solution that is incredibly well optimized and bug free and reworks an entire section of the code just to have better QoL, it’s incredible
It’s so weird seeing the contrast between Mojang and Factorio devs developing an update. Smaller team, way better communication with the community, way more important bug fixes (there are practically no bugs in the game right now. If a small one shows up, it’s quickly patched out).
And also, they’re giving us exciting news on upcoming content every week. These past weeks we got news about a new meteor gathering building, space platforms, elevated train rails, major improvements to rail placement, robot AI, remote controlling, ghost placement…
Meanwhile over at Minecraft, the multi-million dollar company Mojang, backed by trillionaire Microsoft, they’re delaying bundles, a much requested feature, for over 3 years, with no news on them whatsoever. They’ve made a stupid change to a redstone component everyone in the community liked because reasons and refuse to change it back.
This update is so small and non-exciting, I’m not even gonna boot the game up for it, the same as 1.19 and 1.20.
I’m really considering abandoning the game entirely because I just don’t see any worth in it anymore. It’s a barebones game lead by a team of arrogant and opinionated devs that don’t want to risk taking any bold moves.
You don’t need to, they already look amazing
I had a 1.17 world that got converted to 1.18 and there were diamonds in like Y 60 near the new chunks
You spent years making that map?
It looks like a really epic lighthouse to me.
Top one is better. In my opinion, warped looks too dark and sticks out like a sore thumb, while cherry wood complements the build very nicely
8/10. I like classy skins. Since you asked, here’s mine
