He’s been top 10 in receiving yards once in his career and has never been a red zone threat. It’s pretty easy to come up with 10 other guys that have been better. Jefferson, Kupp, Chase, Hill, AJ Brown, Keenan Allen, Lamb, Diggs, St. Brown, Adams, Cooper, Evans, DJ Moore. This isn’t even counting up and comers like Aiyuk, Tank Dell, Nico Collins, Puka, Chris Olave, Garrett Wilson.

This fanbase rides anyone’s D that shows even a semblance of competence. Terry is highly overrated here, our fans act like he’s a hall of famer but it’s not even close.

Its short term memory, he’s played 2 good games in a row, the previous 7 where he was an absolute sack magnet have been completely forgotten. Its probably just the younger fan that haven’t lived through enough dissapointment from this team.

That being said, some of the throws he’s making are awesome, dude can absolutely sling it. I was clamoring for a new QB all off-season but am starting to believe in Howell more and more. Someone brought up a good point in a different thread, this offense is basically all on the shoulders of the QB and he’s handling it better and better each week.

Its also how Bruce Arians went from OC to HC and that turned out ok. EB has been a coach long enough. And obviously you hire a GM and let him pick the staff, this wouldn’t be anything more than an audition. If the team plays solidly and the new GM likes him maybe he stays HC, if it all falls apart who really cares, we clean house, its clear we’re looking towards the future
