Agree and I’m a Bengals fan.
Also either start giving MVPs to different positions or come up with an Outstanding QB award.

My take as a Bengals fan:
On Burrow:
Plenty of people are now calling Joe Burrow injury prone now.
They won’t shut up with the Andrew Luck comparisons.
Reality: He’s only missed games due to 2 injuries which were catastrophic.
The digs on Lamar come mainly from:
This sub
Steelers fans that know Lamar is more of a QB than Big Ben could ever be.
The inherit racism of the NFL fan base that do not like unapologetically black players.

Purdy should be the face of the NFL because he’s the only person whiter than Patrick Mahomes.
The Cowboys have played exactly 2 good teams. Got absolutely spanked by one, and couldn’t make the plays that mattered against the Eagles.
Then there’s the embarrassing loss to ARZ.
I’ve heard and see a number of things about the Dolphins being 0-3 against good teams, but not a single talking head has mentioned this about the Cowboys. It’s a legitimate point.
Nov 30 and the four December games are what matter.
0-5 is just as possible as 5-0. Neither seem likely though.
He’s an easily replaceable 3rd down back.
Vonn Bell was the player we should’ve kept. He was the straw that stirred the drink on defense. There are maybe 5 guys in the whole league that can reliably play slot-corner. He caused the INT that won the AFC in 2021.
CTB may get there, but he’s not special like Bell.
Arranged by division with a team most likely to make a run.
Good teams not listed because they’re not ‘unexpected’
AFC South
The Texans are going to win the AFC South, and may very well win a playoff game. Stroud is great, and that defense is underrated. No stars, but well-coached.
IND sucks at QB.
TEN is bad.
AFC West
The Broncos have all the parts and a good coach has got them together.
LAC is just waiting for their dumbass coach to go full Charger. Then Belichick can be hired.
LVG doesn’t have the QB to do the job anymore.
NFC North
MIN - Dobbs is a good story. They may make the playoffs because the NFC is so weak
GRB - No love.
CHI - LOL
NFC South
NOL has Carr now, but that guy just exudes “Nope” to me.
TAM may be a bit better than we think. Todd Bowles just isn’t a good coach.
ATL - Arthur Smith shouldn’t run a fork lift for Arthur Blank, much less his offense.
CAR is 5 players away from being good enough to evaluate the QB properly.
AFC North
The only AFC team that had underachieved based on roster was the Bengals. And to make a late run you have start out weak. But that’s over.
CLE/PIT suck at QB.
AFC & NFC East (They get over-talked everywhere else. I’m condensing them.)
The Cowboys and Dolphins are all sizzle, no steak. Neither has beaten a winning team.
The Bills roster wasn’t that good, and now it’s a front-office smoldering dumpster fire.
Shut up about the Jets. It ain’t happening, Rich Eisen.
WAS is a good story. Getting rid of Snyder is the win here.
NYGarbage
PAThetic.
NFC West
SEA - Could make a run, but are they unexpected?
ARZ - *tumbleweed*
LAR - Straight to DVD in a league built for streaming.
Sorry, but Fred Savage was a Bears fan in this.
We’re passing through the Pit of Despair. Those poor saps built and maintain the pit.
Only team of the 16-game era to not have a 4000 yard passer.
Never had a 30 TD QB either. Even the Redskins had Jorgenson, and the Browns had Brian Sipe.
If the Bengals drafted Sewell instead of Chase they don’t get close to the SB in 2021.
However they win the 2022 SB.
WRs are the most over-valued thing in all of sports.
There’s no correlation between TNF and injuries.
TNF is not going away.
That being said I’ve always wanted another week added so each team gets two byes. Make it so teams have a bye then a TNF game.
Who cares?
There is nothing more useless and unnecessary than a sideline reporter.
Been saying it for weeks:
Belichick will coach the LA Chargers next season.
He gets a ready-to-go offense, and only has play decent defense. Plus remove the Staley Plays (aka shooting yourself in the foot). Easy 10 wins for 2-3 seasons will surpass Shula overall and regular season record.
That’s because Cowboys talk is always WAY TOO MUCH and WAY TOO STUPID.
The Cowboys haven’t beaten a team with a winning record, lost the Cards, and got completely STOMPED by the 49ers.
Their best ‘win’ has been almost beating the Eagles. And my son pointed out that besides the two almost scores (where Dak had the ball) that Dak completely missed, made the wrong throw, or took a sack 4 different times in the red zone. Dak’s INTs are over-talked. Dak’s poor decisions in key situations are not.
Teams that I’ve heard “Yes, but who have they beaten?”
Eagles, Dolphins, 49ers, Chiefs, Lions, Jags, Bills, Steelers
I have never heard that used with Cowboys, and to be fair they match the Dolphins pretty well. And all of sports media has talked about the Phins being 0-3 against teams with winning records.
I’ve heard “Cowboys are Superbowl favorites” again this week, twice.
Granted one of these was Bayless, and that’s just a Free Space on the Stupidity Bingo card.
Watched it tonight.
I have a totally scientific thing I do. I don’t watch the kickoff. Last year I saw the kickoff of only the regular season losses so I stopped watching kickoff.
Maybe I should watch the kickoff to double-whammy the curse.
IT’S SCIENCE!
Every single NFL game is a trap game.
Ask DAL about ARZ
“Nobody would’ve predicted”
I DID!
TD MIXON!!!
It’s been obvious all season.
I knew letting go of Bell was a mistake. Bates was good, but Bell made the magic happen.
Defense is playing with 10 with the current safety.
