Personally, I find the Pelagos 39 to be one of the best daily watches in that price range. The design and colours are so safe, so boring that it goes well with anything and everything. I own one and I love it, allows me to explore more interesting and unorthodox pieces knowing that I’ll always have something safe to come back to.

I don’t really care about prices. I just buy whatever I like when the itch hits, as long as I have the means for it at that time.

My first watch was actually my most expensive, it cost me about $5000. Then I got a PRX Powermatic 35mm and a couple of G Shocks. And now I’m looking at some $300 Seiko’s and microbrands alongside an $8000 chronograph 😂
