I hear you, but I still don’t think anyone truly knows or has any proof or what kind or how much input he provides. It’s def some, there’s no doubt, but none us know the inner working of that front office. And acting like that fixes all of our issues and somehow magically gives us a better chance is weird to me. I think a lot of simply boils down to: winning and finding the right combination of people in the NFL is super difficult.

As much as I’m over Arthur Smith and ready for him to go, I still don’t have the same level of disgust I had for both Mike Smith and Dan Quinn at the end of their tenures.

Just some random semi-topical thoughts from me:

-Is anyone else just bummed we have to start over at head coach again? I was rooting for AS, starting over with a head coach is always kind of rough. I know it’s necessary and our roster is better now but still just sucks. And I’ll never understand people actively rooting against AS from the beginning -The nepotism narrative will always be lazy to me. -I appreciated what he did the 1st 2 seasons with basically nothing for a roster. Just hasn’t continued to the improvement enough -Not using your best players consistently is just too stupid to overlook. I get some games they are covered/not open, but when it’s every game, spanning over multiple seasons, it’s your own fault -I’ve gone to 9-10 games since 2017 and every. single. game. is a loss in the last few mins. It’s been absolutely brutal. Last W I saw in person was the Thurs night color rush game(2017). This has been the most brutal stretch/drought for this team since I’ve been an actively watching fan(1998). We’ve never gone this long without a good team since then

Luckily I haven’t cared as much the last few years, and don’t let it ruin my days/week like it used to (Thx SB51), but it still just sucks right now. Brighter days ahead I hope…

Stupid. People have confused rooting for Ridder/the team in general, as endless and unwavering support of Desmond Ridder. Him succeeding would’ve been a good thing for so many reasons. The people screaming they were right are complete losers. Were there some people that were saying some wild things about Ridder and how good they thought he was? Sure, but not a lot, most people just wanted to see the team do well. Crying “I told you so” gives off the same energy. I will continue to put the 2 in the same category of idiocy.

Lol I have been heavily invested in fantasy football the past couple years and this makes me like AS even more. A complete overreaction and lack of perspective, which seems to be a weekly occurrence. I will continue to laugh to about it.
