Somebody needs cheezits
And it doesnt matter what model phone any of us have. Go see someone and get on the right meds. pot doesnt seem to be helping your paranoia any.
I started using AnyList and I generally maintain my weekly grocery list in the webapp and it syncs to the phone and the watch. It is nice once set up, but kinda clunky on the fly. It does add to current list nicely, but that assumes you have a list set up. There is a $10/y sub.
I have not played with the Reminders app for grocery lists, but I believe it can now easily perform that task in spades with the lates update. Will probably try it when my sub for AnyList runs out. At least worth the look before paying for an app/sub. Especially since it is an included app anyway and works across all devices.
It’s only usefull to me when streaming music. I have it set to skip tracks. Other than that, I havent found it usefull or necessary with anything else I do.
I use mine for more than I thought I would, but it took me some time to set up.
- Fitness. But not on a level of going to a gym. On the level of making a game to close my rings, especially that damn green one, every day. This comes from my doc saying I need to get out and moving to improve my heart health. It’s worked, turning it into a game. I try to add to the goal every quarter. dropped over 90 pounds this year just because of this and a diet change of restricting salt to 1500 mg / day.
- WorkOutDoors - this is what I use to track the walks, bike rides, hikes and elliptical exercises I do. Takes some dedicated time to set up the screens with the data you want shown, but after that, it is the best out there. No sub, just small buy-in price.
- Authenticators - Everything is going this route, so I have all my authenticators set up for work and play to notify me on the watch. With AWU2 with cellular I dont even need the phone for most. some still do because there isnt a dedicated app. Too many to list, but MS Authenticator and OKTA are the 2 I use most.
- Weather - I used to have Carrot, but once the WatchOS was updated and the built-in weather app started behaving correctly, I canceled the sub. So far, it’s been fine and accurate. I use it to determine what I wear in the morning (jackets/coats) and if I am going to walk or hike or stay in and do my elliptical that afternoon.
- Messages - started out only reading them, then responding to them on my phone. But now, with the enhanced dictation, I respond on the watch unless I want to send media.
- Music and Books - Apple Music, YouTube Music and Audible are great. On my hikes, walks and bike rides, I leave the phone at home. So far, all are working great. YTMusic and Apple Music stream, I download the books 1 at a time in Audible. Works great with AirPods.
- I track my water intake as my doc wants me to only drink so much in a day (128 oz). On the phone I also watch the sodium and come January as a new goal, I am going to start really keeping track of carbs to try and drop a bit more this coming year.
- I can tell the time. Funny how that can get left off lists, but it is a watch.
- A few cool complications and widgets come from different apps, but I dont really get into those on a daily basis. Lumy, Fantastical, Sundial, Heart Analyzer are the ones off the top of my head.
- I use MyQ to open my garage when I get home from walking or biking. dont have a keypad anymore and dont want to stash an opener somewhere.
They are in my post history.
Ended up with 9 cases for my previous phone (12 PM)
Currently have 4 (3 in hand, one on order) for my new 15 PM.

deckyonBto Apple@hardware.watch•What's a "just enough" case to hide camera bump for iPhone 15 Pro and make it lay flat?English1·2 years agoNomad Rugged case (blue) works for me. Love the case, the feel and grip and it’s magsafe.
Probably series 7. I believe that was the first that offered water resistance to allow for at least swimming. It is why I upgraded from my original AW to the AW7.
I forgot. Still more than worth it for me for some cool complications.
WorkOutDoors - low price, no sub required.
Fantastical - sub not required
Lumy - sub required, but cool complications.
Those are the ones I would recommend. I have others, some require subs, some dont. But most are pretty user specific.
Solace is nice enough, I have had a few before. They do end up stretching too much after a few months, however. But that may not be too big an issue if you are only sleeping in them. I use a Trail Look on mine now.
It’s cause the doohicky is not aligned with the thingamajob in the thermal coupling. reboot the flux capacitor and try again. but make sure the time is set to after 1985.
Have 15 PM since release, and never had any overheating problem.
deckyonBto Apple@hardware.watch•Based on a lot of posts, some people are not aware you can take screenshots with your watch. Screenshots are way better to look at than pictures taken of your watch.English1·2 years agoBut we cannot see our wrists in a screenshot!!!
deckyonBto Apple@hardware.watch•What do you guys think of a Health app that you grow up your Pokemon buddy by your daily active burned energy?English1·2 years agoActually sounds kinda interesting. I like the idea of my actions doing workouts effecting something like this.
Maybe more than just pokemon, maybe include some older Tamagotchi styled pets.
I turned my rings into a game for myself to close them out and get my health better and heal my heart. Worked well, once I had set my own rules. So, anything to make working out more engaging or fun for those who do not like doing it is great.
You probably wont see much on ipad apps in the apple Watch subreddit.
But yeah, it was migrated well to the ipad. I still pretty much only use it on my iphone, but I see the merit.
Go into the settings and turn off the Autostart or Autodetect. Forget exactly where, did it so long ago. Drove me nuts as well, as I use a scooter from the garage I park my car at to work (and back). Just short of a mile.
Sounds like you got what you paid for.
