  • I want to say void spirit, but I hate it how they changed him from nuke to physical dps :/

This patch it is probably Kunka. All his spells synergizes in so many ways, it’s quite a fun hero. And the next in line is probably magnus. It has spells that work together in different ways, depending on what you want from the hero

You pick sniper and AM on the same team and then wonder why you can’t control the enemy? I can’t even tell who has what role on the radiant side, that’s how bad of a draft it looks. But assuming you are playing a turbo or something, nullifier would take out the eul scepter. And hex will disable her. Willow needs 1 second to die, hex gives you 2.5 these days?

  • Well, not everyone has a dark humor. Davai, bro, you should’ve made that joke with me and my country mates. We’d have sad-laughed with you.

Dark humor properly used does not mean someone’s laughing at other. He’s not laughing at this predicament, he is not mocking them, he is not belittling them, he is not making fun of the injured or the lost lives, he simply used a dark humor that acknowledges their struggles. Dark humor used like this even raises awareness. I do understand it is not everyone’s cup of tea, but it is certainly not this big of a deal.

I remember one of the streamers (qojqva/gorgc or Insania) said that one of the old legends is going to retire and play as coach. And the only two players that come to mind are puppey and kky. Puppey seems to be staying with Secret, so, kky might be coaching this year. Fata might return back to Nigma though. He has started playing again

  • You should watch people who spam zeus. If you watch some streamers, you will realize that if they are not picking a comfort hero, but rather picking a hero that they’ve missed playing, they will follow an old build till they realize how to efficiently build the hero. Their thinking on playing zoos would be, do i need a quicker escape? or do i need more dps? So, they’ll figure it out as they go forward.

And this is also common at TIs. If you want to learn how to play LD, and you follow the Ace build in TI finals, you’ll just lose. Both qojqva, and excalibur were seriously questioning his build (they’re LD spammers), and yet Ace was the reason GG made it to finals. So, there are players who are experts on their own heroes, and players who closes the gap of experience through their skills of outplaying.

Btw, I forgot which pro player said it in an interview, but he did say that if a hero’s OP, they go check how a spammer of that hero plays that hero. For example, for brood, he went and watched an ancient player play, and was amazed at how he had set up his nets across the map and had a gpm of 1k at less than 20mins (or something like that). Of course, it wouldn’t have worked at immortal bracket because he’d get ganked or rotated on, or farm taken, but the point is that they were learning the net placements from there.

  • Honestly, as a hero, the only times I have seen morph work is when the enemies have a faceless void carry. In other cases, I’ve not really seen it work in this patch. Heroes like ES, Primal, the other ES, and the other ES (has been nerfed, but it’s still ES), kunka, pango (or *caugh* *caugh* nyx) offer a lot in the early mid game, and also team fight potential. And if you want to use a pseudo carry safelane who doesn’t need a lot of space from morph mid, then there are still a lot of other better options for mid that even scale better, like TA, LD, Lina; and situationally meepo, husky, riki.
