Nah the pacers have Halliburton who’s the media’s darling and they play fast.
Defense isn’t sexy, it wins games but doesn’t excite fans.

At this stage the IST doesn’t mean much, but I was thinking about it today and realised that it’s still a chance to win in a competitive setting.
It’s not the title sure but I think with the single elimination format we had a much better chance at bringing home the cup than we will of even making it to the ECF this year.
It still goes on your resume and into your cabinet, it’s not meaningless at all. I’d say it’s more worth having than an all star appearance or even a top seed by the end of the season.
Yeah good take, I think the setup is pretty good and overall the tournament is a W.
Somehow the nets nearly made it which would’ve been a travesty, instead of having the 1 or 2 seed in the east make the tournament you would’ve had the 9 seed. Wouldn’t make for a very competitive game.
My redraft of 2021 currently sits as follows
Personally I still think Cade is a good asset in the wrong situation, might follow a similar path to Wiggins where he gets traded to a functional team someday and be a player who wins you basketball games.
The #1 ship might’ve sailed but he could defs be a good #2 imo.
Like I said, Cole Anthony has a beautiful game.
Cannot believe the starting centre on the 2 seed in the east was on the waiver wire last season.
Great job by the FO to move quickly and get him a deal.
Cole Anthony’s offense is honestly beautiful sometimes, his handle is unreal, if he was 6’5 he’d be an all star
I think they’d win the series but it’d be one of those matchups that would shit you to tears because of the physicality.
Boston’s end goal is the title and if they need to bust their ass just to get out of the first or the second round it’d be tough to then get out of the east and then win the finals.
Those turnovers have really taken a lot of the air out of the game for us.
Yeah I agree. Hawkins has lucked into some opportunities with the Pels cos of their injuries.
I’m a big believer that our 2nd unit is the best in the league, it’s not surprising that Jett can’t break into it as a rookie.
Gary, Joe and Isaac are all playoff tested vets who either bring elite shooting or defense, Cole and Moe are both reliable scorers.
Not really any chance he’d displace any of them this early. The more time he gets in the g-league to break down his film and figure things out the closer he’ll get to real minutes.
There are still people saying we messed up the Howard pick cos Hawkins is balling.
Howard is Hawkins with more length and better on ball skills.
My hot take is that Jett even tho he’s barely played is the best shooter on our team and I don’t think it’s that close.
That turkey has really been sitting there for 8 years since the last thanksgiving W.
Honestly is it crazy to say that we might see a shift to Dell coming off the bench when he comes back?
We’ve been unreal with Goga in the starting unit, great rim protector when compared to Wendell and has great passing chops as evidenced by tonight.
He’s a revelation for us.
Honestly as much as this roster needs shooting, outside of that they’ve done a fantastic job building it.
We’ve got some phenomenal role players on our team.
Patrick Williams is a fucking peanut.
Anyone who thinks that Joe Ingles doesn’t deserve 15 minutes a game doesn’t know ball.
Good to say Jalen’s got the rag on in the postgame.
Bro needs to fix those waves lol.
Yeah pretty much, the hope is that the numbers won’t stay so drastically low.
Really happy to watch this game as a Magic fan.
All the Vuc slander since the trade has hurt, he was literally Sabonis before Sabonis.
