Wstch some of the QB school videos I linked above. Hes got good instincts and process. The question is whether he can adapt to game speed and break his habit of trying to play hero ball.

We all know how DTR looked in his first start vs the Ravens. It was a stunner to me because he looked great in preseason - much better than Dobbs who has done great in Arizona and Minnesota.

We all know preseason can be a mirage. DTR is s rookie and went against mostly 2nd stringers but he looked great against most everyone including the game he started against a good Philadelphia defense (who held out their best starters). I particularly have enjoyed the guy who makes the QB School videos. His relationship with DTR goes back a couple of years to his UCLA days. He has said DTR always responded to his videos with questions and even made a response video where you can see his personality and willingness to learn.

… the defense does enough to put Deshaun Watson,… in position to win. That should be enough for a playoff bid, even if there needs to be more from this passing game to make any waves beyond the Divisional Round.

He says the team will get a playoff bid, but his ranking puts us 9th in the AFC. Do these people put any thought into their words?

Glad to see someone posted this. I didn’t hear his name all day and for a last minute addition at left tackle that is the best you can expect.

If Browns nation aged 20 years in the last 9:06, 19 of those years occured in the last 3 seconds. We’ve all see comebacks. The Browns love to tease us with a comeback then lose in the most excrutating way possible.

Missing an XP and a FG from a guy who’s been hitting 90% of his kicks up to that point is something previous Browns teams would do. This one is different.

Me too. I thought Vilma added some good insights and he kept calling out the BS penalties on both sides. I was more annoyed with the refs than the announcers.

It happens every time Fox covers an AFC game. They don’t see the teams enough to know the rosters or how they’ve changed.

Honestly, I wish the NFL would allow everyone to move on by moving the Colts the Central, Ravens to the East, and Dolphins to the South. It’d make more sense and make it easier for most North fans to get to away games.

I wouldn’t be surprised if we see a lot of DTR vs. the Cardinals. It’s a good team to see if he’s salvageable this season.

The best course for DTR is to run the scout team this season and get experience running the opponent’s offense against our starting defense in practice. I suspect he’d be better than PJ vs teams like Arizona and Denver but I’m really hoping we don’t need to find out. Another start like the last one would be crushing.
