I like the hooker pick. A capable backup in round three is a steal. But there seems to be this thought that he was gonna be a 1st round guaranteed starter and dropped to the third solely because of injury and that’s just not in line with his metrics and measureables. His ceiling/projection was never top flight starter and it’s unrealistic to assume that his development path. I tricky the Lions are putting him in the best possible position to succeed and that he can overcome being a RPO/first read system QB, but it’s out of step with what everyone else seemed to understand to just pencil him in as the future starter.

I hope he’s right. He’s a coach not a doctor.
