Im 7k, I can tell you in this mmr, you still get classic game sometimes…literally half of my games.

mmr below 6k is quite ez, for me, 1) just watch pro games, not just one game, like watch a lot…watch how they play your heroes and just copy thier play style & itemization (no weird items shit). 2) Play only 1-2 roles, don’t switch between support and cores. 3) Play & spam only 3 heroes, 5 heroes maximum, make sure you mastered them. 4) play meta heroes, but don’t force urself to play if you’re not good at those heroes. 5) dota is a metal game, just mute everyone if you’re tlited, or when your team starts flaming. 6) not every game is winnable, you cant win all of them.

but If you cant control urself to do these things, you wont make it.

this works until 6k. after that it is skill issue, im stuck in 7k btw… GL.
