I’m a pos1 as well and I always know without playing support almost at all what he can do more in a lane. I know how to play support just because of what I saw playing against or with good or bad supports. I also don’t wanna play party with friends, because they just don’t give enough effort and the enemy team is playing strats and try to focus me in fights, more than in solo games. So I will just play support in most games, it’s also super easy for me, I usually win the game in the first 15 minutes and then I just follow my team and press my buttons that’s all.

Oh trust me you will play pos 1 again after seeing the clown shits that play safelane, that dont have a clue when to push when to farm when to engage what to build how to position. You can make the perfect game only to have clowns that throw your perfect game at minute 43.

arent most support players pos1’s burned out of having lane griefed, having game & timings ruined and then eat blame from team bc why cant you carry game w/o a lane or time to recover??

Looking at my battle report as a pos 1 main I have higher win percentage on supports as a carry player that’s 15 wins out of 23 games. Knowing what your carry needs really is a big gamechanger.

I’m in the same boat. I’m not god gifts to Dota by any means but I have clocked over 10k hours and I have no doubt in my mind that I am more than capable of reaching Immortal even though I have been hard stuck in high ancient/low divine for the most part. I’m so close to transitioning to full-time pos5 because 9/10 pos5 players have no clue what to do at any point of the game.

Whenever I get a solid pos5 player, we usually stomp the lane. So many pos5s value their life like they are the carry, they play like castrated dogs who are scared of trading and dying.

IT IS OKAY TO WALK UP AND TRADE TILL YOU DIE IF IT MEANS YOUR CARRY GETS THE RETURN KILL

Instead of trying to be the pos 5 you want to get in your games why not be the TEAMMATE your team needs?

I mostly play 3 but I’ve found myself queueing 5 more and more recently because I’m just so tired of dealing with 4 players, I swear they’re on average the worst at laning out of every role and it’s not even close

Getting left to fend for myself for the first 2 minutes of the game because he wants to gank, doesn’t contest enemy pulls while having atrocious pull timing himself essentially gifting the enemy team a free large camp, completely disregarding my ability to farm if it means they can inconvenience the enemy team even the slightest, and so on and so on

And don’t even get me started on the dumb fucking heroes they pick, like if I have to lane with another pudge or timbersaw (yes, really) or nyx I feel like I’m going to scream

man i was same with you, was a carry for 2 years and noticed that there are lacks of serious support. coincidentally i watched jerax immaculate earth spirit, and that’s it. i’ve been support for life
