23 days agoOf course this is anecdotal but I haven’t seen that - most of the disdain I’ve seen is towards new instance admins who don’t take proper steps to moderate stuff or prevent spammy signups.

As someone who watched it for the first time this year, I was less interested in the mecha fights and fully captivated by the story / emotional states of the characters, which is not what I was expecting at all.

Amending the constitution would take 38 states to get on board IIRC and is not a quick process anyway. The republicans do not control 38 state governments.
