Thanks for the post! CU made it so I could actually play through the Marvel Xcom style game. Before using CU it would crash every time I went to sleep in the game when on the Steam Deck. I was then able to beat the whole game on the SD thanks you CU. Thanks for all your hard work, I have not uninstalled it because I have not had any issues while using it and also because the Marvel xcom game was such a good experience, until I have an issue I will leave this installed.

Some are saying with latest update its not working. But in the past I couldn’t even play the Marvel xcom game without having CryoUtilities, it would just crash during sleeping and fps would be low, beat the whole game on steam deck after installing CryoUtilities, ran better and would let me past the going to sleep and crashing.

Back in the day it wasn’t a plasibo thing at all, playing games again with it after playing them without it I could tell the difference. But its been awhile since I did any testing comparing it and some on here are saying the dev said the latest steam update made it so this won’t work anymore, Ill have to look up that stuff :)

D:OS2 is the best choice, wonderful game from the same devs.

I would also suggest maybe checking out Into The Breach and maybe Wasteland 3. Even Pillars Of Eternity 2 or xcom if you don’t mind using k+m (tried POE2 but not xcom).

That is one of my favorites, love Larian games all the way back to Divine Divinity :)

And you are right, Divinity OS2 is wonderful on the steam deck, I forgot to mention it, thanks for bringing it up :)

Yup, I am trying games in genres I never did before and its also allowed me to enjoy many of the PC games I love in bed. I have spine issues and am in bed some days and this steam deck has done a wonderful job on my rough days dealing with health stuff.

Also when family is over, its great hooking it up to the tv to, just a wonderful piece of gear. So many cool ways of customizing things.

No problem! That game came out of nowhere for me, just loved it to bits. Wonderful story, great on the steam deck. In my personal Top 10 for this year, Enjoy!

No problem! Really fun doing the campaign mode together on the same team. Have a blast on it when my nephew is over, he loves hockey and has a blast on this one.
