Exactly! Never underestimate a new leader who is good at their job…the real question is who is the Scott Harris in bball?

Ausar is one of the fastest in game players I’ve ever seen. He blows by everyone up the court and to the basket. The issue is that he’s too fast for his ball handling (which is why Ivey looks faster imo as his handle is better). Ausar’s handles literally can’t keep up with his speed/passion.

If it ever does…dear god everyone is so screwed. Even if he never gets a shot he’d be terrifying on any team.

I thought about lineups, but most of that was the Ivey/Kill thing for me. The lineups are still really confusing, but even our guys who “can shoot” are super cold so I think it’s a talent issue…like even Stew, I cringe when he shoots and expect him to miss. I think Monty seems to just be chucking out diff lineups to see if anything will work, but I agree some of them are so frustrating…but a lot of it has to do with a general lack of talent on the team.

The Ivey thing was weird to start the season and then he was sick for a few games. I really only view the last couple as Ivey games we’ve had. I do agree on Sasser and Umude minutes as I want them to get the reps/shots to see how they develop.

One thing that is driving me nuts about Monty is him not giving regular mins to Sasser specifically. He’s CLEARLY a good basketball player and scorer…give him a chunk to cook within each game. I want to see him get reps/develop.

I do not agree with the amount of muscle/weight added I guess. I think you need to be more bouncy/agile/quick as a ball handler now…but there are examples of both I suppose. It’s annoying how much faster Ivey gets the ball up. If we move Cade to mostly off ball then I’m fine with it I guess.

I have lots of negative thoughts on this org, BUT they seem to all really believe and support one another which I like…but changes are needed.

I’m writing a fan post about how to do a mini blowup of this squad…and it’s more for my mental health than for anyone to read.

I’m just sad and disappointed.

We miss the easiest shots. It’s honestly strange.

I can’t watch Stewart shoot much more.

Ivey (and Sasser) needs to shoot even more. They are building blocks and need their reps.
