When I had the GT4 the big concern was the strut towers cracking, is this the same issue on the S? I want to say it’s the same frame/platform but wasn’t sure if the extra HP/TQ is why the GT4 could suffer stress fractures.
Was it for weight savings or just looking for good marketing headlines?
Wow! Excellent info. Reminds me of the tolerance on the rod bearings for the e9x M3. Not wildly a problem but zero room for error, you either drive 150k worry free miles or get a glorified piece of engine art one day.
For me I would need to have $75k in cash in a means I could lose 90% of it. Or building a track car. A 992 has a stack of sensors and electronics that will add up in cost fast.
The daytona jack is hilarious for a top tier shop. Not knocking the brand (I use them) but for a legit high end shop you’d expect Matco or Snap-On.

Love it! Weird that the GT3 gets a painted front with PTS but the 3RS does not. I would spec PCCB or at least black calipers the red is clashing a bit.
