Funny how collecting tech and stamp is so different. A production flaw on a first batch of stamps would make that specific stamp ultra expensive whereas in tech it makes the object worthless.
Makes you think about the relativity of value.
If you are using Grub for booting, your could do a script for editing the default OS and use that for rebooting.
Or alternatively use networking capabilities of Grub as shown in this exemple.
My expectation is to read similar level of nervous breakdown once valve silently release an upgraded version with VRR and suddenly everybody will realize their beloved deck is a useless junk again.
