Exactly. A brewery near us used to have really decent food. But the quality was so bad post pandemic, we haven’t been back since early 2021.
I pretty much stopped going out for burgers because my area lacks a really good burger. We do have two places that do smash burgers pretty well and it’s a food cart, so it’s affordable, but any proper sit down started charging $20+ for frozen patty style garbage.
Fuck, with all of the restaurants that closed during the pandemic, I feel this.
The only way for most of these companies to constantly generate income is to offer a subscription model. As they need to increase income, they can increase subscription prices.
Everybody (well, just the conpany) wins. Can’t you see how beneficial this is to everyone (just the company)?

If they are pushing ads that much, they will probably pause the ad until you put the device back on or close the application.

Force a fine and three years severance to the affected employees.
I wish a company wouldn’t be allowed to do any layoffs or mass firings for a period of three years post merge and require 1 year severance after that, to all employees at that company, not just those affected by the merge.
