The Pacers announced that Smith is being transported to a local hospital for additional testing out of an abundance of caution. After Tuesday’s contest, the Pacers have an extended break, with four days off before their next game Sunday against the Magic. Isaiah Jackson will likely slot into the rotation as the Pacers’ backup center if Smith isn’t ready to play Sunday.
I liked the offense first Colts teams under Manning, and I’m here for the offense first, Tyrese-led Pacers years.
Correct. League pass blackouts follow the team, not whether they are road or away. So, if you live in the Pacers blackout area, then both road and away games are blacked out.
If you have a SiriusXM subscription, the NBA station has a good 50-min long download/stream with Mark Boyle interviewing several players and Carlisle about the upcoming season. I liked hearing from the new players. Obi Toppin impressed me with what he said…acknowledged that the team didn’t acquire him for his defense/isn’t known for his defense, and has been working hard to get better on defense. The team overall has had that focus. And they all sound hungry, individually and collectively as a team, to be better, surprise people and win a lot more games this year.
I am from originally from that area as well and went to Seton before they had a high school (K-8)…Memphis is my western conference team, and it’s been exciting to watch Desmond blossom in the NBA!
Have a great time at the game tonight!
