Nope I’m just awful.

When developers commit source code to a shared repository (for integration in software people like us use), they have the often-squandered opportunity to summarize the changes they are submitting. Linus (rightfully) thinks this opportunity should be leveraged more appr9opriately and more often, with more quality.
In the iOS app, it was Settings > My Profile > Data & Privacy
My daughter that is under-paid because she’s a teacher and they are all under-paid is asking me for financial help, and I’m a scumbag outing her for trying to have a better quality of life with a medical procedure early in her working career.
Man, I hate the internet sometimes…
I wonder if/how many of them will be unwillingly forced to the front lines in Ukraine within a year…
I wish they’d propose a mandate on having the option for disconnected vehicles sold in the US, instead. Privacy-conscious people should not have to resort to finding and disconnecting antennas to reclaim privacy from sketchy data collection. I get that China is the big bad wolf in this discussion, but American companies are just as bad with the data hoarding and erosion of privacy.

.1% gain is smashing records now?
Dance the magic dance
That’s the point.
I came in expecting a post about Aussies’ favorite greeting/compliment/insult, and was let down.
The only time I ever fell for a “lifetime” software purchase was back when Trillian (the IM client) was popular. That lasted less than 5 years. Then they released “Astas”, which was just a UI refresh, but they treated it like it was a whole new company and product. “Lifetime” is always a scam.
Coil whine ? Yup. They told me it would go away as I got older and lost range of hearing. Still waiting for that.
Edit: typo
It sounds like they are working in a standard contact center, to me. It’s sad how much control/surveillance contact center managers wield over the agents. There are good companies out there, but for contact centers, they are unicorns, not the norm. The norm is “track every second, scrutinize any time waste”.
Is this the more edgy way to say “enshitification”?
After you move it back to the UK, that is.
I use Voyager and my meme consumption quota is fully met
Select “All”, you’ll find them in about 7 out of 10 posts…
Maybe that’s why they are on this kick of annual price increases, under the guise of “rising costs” due to “inflation”.
Tax loss write-off?
Having a news post buried in the path of “contact us” of an Atlanta field office, maybe?
