Liquid cooled engines still need air intakes for cooling. That includes the 911.

Those intakes are at the front, where the radiator seats and the dakar has it.

Those side intakes you speak of in a turbo aren’t for cooling, those are for combustion. 911 stopped being air cooled in 1998. Lol
