A bit is specific, but you can probably adapt them.
1.1 million sounds like a goal if you can turn this into rental units. Based on the picture heavy renovation is needed, so focus on modification and the status of the permit is the important stuff.
Just calling and talking to old people would also reduce the amount of scams they can fall for if they spend most the day talking to someone not scamming them.
No matter how you tax there isn’t 300+ billion of income to find. Endless new debt isn’t sustainable.
The fascists were afraid of the other fascists. Big surprise there.
Mortgages are as far from usury as you can get in the US. Rates are kept artificially low by Fannie and Freddie, especially offering 30 year fixed rates.
If you can’t handle a partner being largely busy for brief periods, that’s a you problem.
There’s a dairy farm somewhat close to me that let’s you pet the cows and watch them get milked. It’s pretty cool.
Old-school shoulder pads for football were also based on 40k.
That’s a reson to not subscribe or participate, not defederate.
There’s a lot of reactionary anti-corpo types here. There’s really no good reason for users to want to defederate from a Facebook owned instance. It’s also a pointless stance, as threads is a Twitter/mastodon style site and not really compatible with reddit/lemmy style sites.
There are some technical reasons to avoid federating for those hosting instances. The software forces local copies of everything users subscribe to which is a massive space concern. The book that explained all this is now almost 50 years old and people still try to add more bodies to speed up development.
The different city part is especially important for large events. Airlines will increase prices for sporting events, concerts, and conventions.
You can absolutely license a crap load of games and be successful with it. Games Workshop does that with 40k. They haven’t had much that’s as huge as BG3, but the generally are reasonable games. Some are garbage mobile games, but a lot aren’t that as well.
I doubt Hasbro/WotC can actually handle licensing out IP as successfully as GW, but it’s totally possible to do.
It takes companies a long time to realize sharing can actually result in making more money.
There’s a number of reasons that “it’s just cosmetic” is bullshit.
This is why literary analysis created death of the author.
