Yeah, unfortunately 10.1.1 was the worst battery life of any 10 release so far for my series 7, and the 10.2 betas have only been marginally better. It really doesn’t seem like Apple know how to fix the underlying issue at this point.

Arteta with the most wins, but Wenger had 14 or 15 (please no) less losses after his first 200.
Yeah, WatchOS 10 is definitely a drop from WatchOS 9, but it was still useable levels on my Series 7 until 10.1.1 (ironically this version was supposed to fix people with massive battery issues), and now i’m not making it much past 12 hours with Always On Display turned on and no major usage.
The bad news is I also went to the 10.2 beta a few days ago and its no better.
I am wary of a stat that says “up to” rather than “on average”
Yeah, I’m going to give 10.2 a go, it might be as bad but I can’t imagine it will be worse.
yeah I would gladly remove that screen altogether. Perhaps it would be useful if it supported all existing complications so i could have a clean face and get to my complications there, but it is extremely limited as it is.
My watch was averaging roughly 24 hours on every previous 10 release, not great compared to 9, but a hell of a lot better than this on 10.1.1
I updated over 36 hours ago. I have had Apple Watches for over 6 years, and it never takes this long to settle down, hell most point releases don’t require any time to settle down - don’t just take my word for it, feel free to check all the other 10.1.1 threads where people had immediate significant improvements in their battery life.
Be wary… i didn’t have extreme issues prior to installing 10.1.1 yesterday, but it is noticeably worse today - I have lost 46% in 5 hours on my Series 7.
Doing better than me… I’ve lost over 30% after 4 hours this morning on my Series 7. This is worse than before the 10.1.1 update, and way worse than WatchOS 9.
I’m down to 80% after 3 hours so far today, so theoretically it’ll only last 15 hours. Not super impressed when I used to still have at least 20% after 24 hours on WatchOS 9
I wasnt trying to belittle Arteta’s amazing achievements, just adding some context as I was also surprised he had surpassed Wenger for wins.
