Lavine is certainly a better player but I don’t think he’d be a good fit. He’d also take the ball out of Sabonis / Fox hands unless he buys into our offensive system which is a big question mark and not worth the risk imo.

On paper Barnes + Murray and a first about right for an elite wing of Siakam’s caliber if we’re ready to win now assuming that player is locked up long term… but I have no clue how that author thinks they’re gonna get an elite 1v1 defender on an extremely team friendly contract, 2 FRP’s, and a promising young player for an expiring contract to two non-rebuilding teams lol.
