  • You must have the wrong idea of exactly how much i loath supremist ideology.

Fascist like Trump are not capable of reason and should not be able to reach so many vulnerable people.

Everytime we share a post about these non humans or someone hands them a mic, a website doesn’t ban them, we give them power.

My post aren’t different in sentiment from those calling republicans “weird” i just have a more convoluted way of expressing that weirdness they emit and genuinely do not understand the obsession about people origins or genitals. Its 2024, free travel has existed for a while now. Your skin color says literally nothing anymore except in the sick mind if some broken people who are not worth sharing their opinion by others.

In the end these people did not even care about how rational they sound, they just wanted to cause some hurt.

I am pretty sure Kamala slept on both ears or possibly even laughed at seeing this nonsense,

In the meantime, we, clearly both leftists at hearth. Have been infighting… for what reason exactly? What caused this anger? The nonsensical tweet of a racist did, like some magic spell.

Thats what i am trying to go against. I no longer want to give them the power of us assuming there words have a value or meaning.

I assumed people would be able to perceive that meaning from my words but alas.

Sorry to anyone i may have confused.

  • Maybe i live in the future but i don’t see how i would know that shes has indian heritage. Admittedly as an autist i generally appear blind for deducting orgins based on genetics. Its just one of those weird things other people do.

Neither do i associate curry or callcenters with nationality or race. Neither do i perceive them as bad.

Til that curry originated in india, cool historical fact i guess. Would have guessed japan.

We have a callcenter at my job, tons of stuff could be improved towards clear communication and the general customer experience.

Maybe i squint really hard i can see what there going for but its so pitty and oldfashioned my brain just cant accept it as an actual stance.

This post is in reflection a waste of our time, neither of those people seem capable for reason.

  • At that point the computers is promoted (or enslaved depending on pov) and called a (home) server.

One nuance. You don’t need to provide access from outside your home network if you don’t want to open the ports, i prefer that most of services remain local for security anyway. Once those ports are open, you or anyone else can connect to the services using your_external_ip_address:portnumber

You also dont need to run it 24/7, i started with a minecraft server that ran on planned times only, then a system that was online during afternoon-evening but not at night-morning.

It is also possible if not recommended, to use a vpn to tunnel in your network and than you can access everything just like if you where at home from anywhere.

If it all sounds intimidating, a laptop to try things out will do fine. Don’t expect a perfect polished system on first try, i have redesigned my network from scratch multiple times over the years. If you do want to get serious there are plenty of offices that have “old” desktop servers with pretty impressive hardware, the fans may make a lot of noise though.

The Hardware in my current home server is mostly parts that got upgraded in my main pc. I have reached a point where i am willing to sometimes spend extra money on what my partner sometimes dubs “my second pc” but it is also doing a lot for us at this point. Much cheaper then a store-bought NAS.

To be fair i do care quite a bit about that. Phones just make bad computers to me. Small screen and half is used by a keyboard.

They seem designed to frustrate me so “it just works (most times)” is the only way i can stomach owning one.

I have a dream where apple is forced to make ios fully open source and where screen/input devices can freely stream any system/OS from a dedicated server.

Iphones are so “cleverly” dumb it makes them usable.

  • Inspirational demo provided by claude ai NOT A REAL REPORT

While mildly entertaining i doubt if anyone would really read such in full as a real article.

Editorial Report: Trump’s Debate Announcement Raises Eyebrows

Former President Donald Trump took to his social media platform, Truth Social, to announce an upcoming debate with Vice President Kamala Harris. The announcement, however, was far from a straightforward press release, instead serving as a microcosm of Trump’s combative political style and ongoing feuds with the media and his political opponents.

    Debate Details Amid Political Jabs

Trump claims to have reached an agreement for a debate with Harris, scheduled for September 10th in Philadelphia, to be broadcast on ABC. However, the former president couldn’t resist taking a swipe at the network, labeling it “ABC FAKE NEWS” and describing it as “the nastiest and most unfair newscaster in the business.” This continued antagonism towards mainstream media outlets has been a hallmark of Trump’s political career and appears unabated.

The debate rules, according to Trump, will mirror those of a previous CNN debate. In what seems to be a dig at President Biden, Trump suggests these rules “seemed to work out well for everyone except, perhaps, Crooked Joe Biden.” The use of the pejorative nickname “Crooked” for Biden indicates that Trump is maintaining his strategy of assigning unflattering monikers to his political rivals.

    Format and Fairness Concerns

Trump emphasizes that the debate will be “stand up,” with candidates prohibited from using notes or “cheat sheets.” This framing implies a preference for spontaneity and perhaps a criticism of prepared remarks. He also claims to have received assurances from ABC about the debate’s fairness, specifically mentioning that neither side will receive questions in advance. The parenthetical “(No Donna Brazile!)” likely refers to the 2016 controversy where Brazile, then a CNN contributor, was accused of providing debate questions to Hillary Clinton’s campaign.

Jabs at Harris and Negotiations in Progress

In a particularly pointed comment, Trump alleges that Harris declined a September 4th debate on Fox News. He frames this as potential indecisiveness, stating the date remains open in case Harris “changes her mind or, Flip Flops, as she has done on every single one of her long held and cherished policy beliefs.” This accusation of inconsistency is a common political attack, though the sweeping nature of Trump’s claim is characteristically hyperbolic.

Trump also mentions the possibility of a third debate on NBC, again using the term “FAKE NEWS” to describe the network. He states that this potential debate “has not been agreed to by the Radical Left,” a term he repeatedly uses to refer to his Democratic opponents.

    Analysis

Trump’s announcement, while ostensibly about a debate agreement, serves multiple purposes. It’s a platform for him to:

    1. Reinforce his adversarial stance towards mainstream media
    2. Attack his political opponents, both directly (Harris, Biden) and indirectly (“Radical Left Democrats”)
    3. Position himself as a strong, decisive figure willing to engage in direct debate
    4. Raise doubts about his opponents’ consistency and willingness to debate

The confrontational tone and use of nicknames and labels (“Comrade Kamala Harris,” “Crooked Joe Biden,” “Radical Left”) are consistent with Trump’s communication style throughout his political career. This approach continues to energize his base while potentially alienating moderate voters.

It’s worth noting that as of our last update, there has been no confirmation from Harris’s team or the Democratic Party about this debate. Given the unorthodox nature of the announcement and Trump’s history of making unverified claims, it would be prudent to seek corroboration from other sources before considering this debate as confirmed.

The announcement concludes with an all-caps “GOD BLESS AMERICA!” – a patriotic flourish that has become a standard sign-off in Trump’s communications, possibly aimed at reinforcing his image as a patriotic figure.

As the 2024 election cycle heats up, this announcement, regardless of its accuracy, signals that Trump intends to maintain the confrontational and unorthodox communication style that defined his previous campaigns and presidency.

  • What is fascinating is i resonate so hard with this but from the opposite perspective.

“Try to connect too many ambiguous dots and you might at some point realize there are not actually any consistent rules governing how you are connecting them, and then it all falls apart.“

Especially this, is so core to my understanding of the world. But by using the word understanding i already invoke the paradox. Understanding is perceiving a truth.

But it doesn’t fall apart for me. When i was 14 and deep (in depression) i came up with. “The point of life is that there is no point” and while super basic, that thought has always been comforting to me. And if thinking about such makes me experience comfort during a time i otherwise felt miserable, well you can tell where this is going. But maybe that is just the high of the placebo you mentioned.

An important key here is, like you i do not literally belief any religious, mythological or any human written text for that matter.

The concepts of a personified god, that you can talk to, that makes executive decisions or is all knowing in the same sense people have knowledge… they fascinated me as a child and Jesus was an important example for my personal growth. But i never believed any of it as historic or real. I actually assumed Jesus was a mythical fiction before religion told me “i was wrong, magic is real” symbolically followed with “no, not that kind of magic you dumb child”

When i say i am agnostic spiritual i mean two things.

I am agnostic because i cannot know the answers on my Most foundational philosopical questions (summarized by the one big question)

“Is physical matter all there is in the universe?”

I cannot known if there are higher consciousness then what we experience in the universe or outside of it.

If there are, then the chance that humans somehow accurately managed to describe such is 0%.

But what i can believe is that some people found a mutual understanding of perceived complex cosmic system that crucially does not need to be real real, but real enough for human being to experience, and used mythological storytelling as a tool to spread the understanding to find that knowledge.

What i find is that some of that knowledge can translate to useful and very relevant ideas.

So when i hear Jesus describe this bigger gnostic patenon. What i read is, we wrote it this here to weed out the gullable. The literal translation of the deity as “the blind one” that created the material world.

What i read is, potentially but in no way certainly the author is using the deity as a euphemism to refer to the human concept of materialism.
A wisdom to mental health is to accept yourself for what your life is. Mistranslate that a bit and you get be thankful for what you have. saying a literal thanking verse to a personified creator of the world is then just a useful misinterpretation from dogmatic religion tm.

I consider myself spiritual because i personally experience a benefit to some of the knowledge. Many types of prayer are just meditation guides. Prayer has always been nonsense to me, but meditation borders on life changing.

I dont need to know any truth to truthfully experience. And that is the my truth.

  • This is enlightening, (pun intended).

May i ask where you acquired this knowledge?

While i know thats the literal meaning of gnostic/agnostic i mean it more in the context of “(a)gnostic (a)theist.”

I used to see myself as an agnostic spiritual but now i am not so sure.

I aim to understand the cosmos, it’s who/what i am. I involve myself with philosophy and science to satisfy my desire to know. To become gnostic.

I am already interpreting so much (to me) real knowledge from just the provided short summary of the gospel of Judas. That must count for something.

But i know i can never truly know the truth, that there will never be a state that i know that i am not wrong, or better nuanced i cant even know if anything at all can possibly reach a state of all knowing. My reality is that i don’t know, i am agnostic.

I am less interested in what other people did with these ideas later on. Like write down the supposed truth, that just seems like missing the point, or maybe it goes a level deeper yet and that truth is that the truth is but a placebo effect.

  • Warn about the silliness of taking mythological teachings literally.

Provides a more complex mythological teaching and some “you’re the smartest student one for knowing” psychology as huge bait to test if you actually understand or just reading along.

Their gnostic philosophy is about obtaining secret knowledge referring to the highest deity being “the unknowable”

Gnostic = Agnostic if i read this well. Am i missing something, honest question…

Where we Saklas all along? Cant help but notice actual church being dogmatic about ancient texts, blind to their meaning

Didn’t human literally presume to be center of The universe while we’re literally just on “Earth” in an infinite unreachable cosmos?

I am reading a bizar religious text and its making more and more sense the deeper the rabbit hole i go. Help!…

  • This is a side effect of too much doomscrolling.

Start of the article shows the genuine reaction is there: “Children giggle as young people flash their smartphones to film robots carrying plates of freshly prepared meals on their inbuilt trays to deliver to diners in a busy eatery in Kenya’s capital.”

I cant say I disagree though, this is putting pressure on some of the twisted dynamics we live by indeed but i think your question doesn’t really work, exploiting people isnt the point, generating value with no regard of other life is and robotics make good slaves. The real issue is how will humans survive in an economy where there labor can no longer be used to obtain a share of the earth-pie.

What we can do is be vocal about normalizing universal basic income which has proven to work. This way we can still be hyped about the technology. Its going to be a matter of either we do get there or we wont live to tell the difference.

I can absolutely hear the bottom text as if it was a lyric from wish you were here.

    Got any rare favorites?

I find myself quite drawn to the alternate tracks from around the time of ummagama these days. Some versions of the narrow way part III being a particular favorite.

There is also a live album post dark side where they play songs that appear to be proto-animals but have the music of wish you were here.

A great addition to any collection i dont think its on Spotify.

Corporate memphis does incorporate a sort of identity vagueness.

Almost all human features, body, skincolor are in a uncanny valley. Non-personal enough to be general yet similar enough to be relatable to pretty much any theoretical demographic.

In reality it falls flat. Many people (non partisan) dislike it because of how artificial and shallow it feels.

What it is definitely not is a deep plot to change the social perception of checks note people with non idealistic body features.

Google has no economic incentive to improve your opinion of disabled people who are equally part of this group you appear to find non acceptable to exist in the workforce.
