I feel like this was the game in which Kenny lost the fan base. I’ve been watching Steeler games since 92. It’s been a while (thanks to Ben), but us old heads remember how cruel Steeler fans can be when the quarterback sucks. From rumors of Neil O’Donnell having gambling debts to talk of Kordell Stewart in a parking lot to tales of people taking shits in the front yard of Tommy Maddox, it gets ugly once this fan base turns on you. My older brother still yells out in his sleep about some guy named Mark Malone. Considering how Kenny was riding high coming into this season, likely picturing a long career as the franchise quarterback, this has to seem like a far fall from what he had envisioned. Feel bad for the guy. Class act. Too bad that doesn’t get folks into the end zone.

Those concerns me too, but his missed throws gets amplified by how few chances he get to throw it downfield in this scheme. His confindence is also completely shot. I think it is also partially a coaching problem because they want him to not turnover so he overthinks his ball placement and throws it to not turn it over instead of making a play.

I think this is something a good QB coach should be able to help to improve, since all we have heard is that Kenny is a hard worker.

With all that being said he needs to improve and I am just a fan that makes an assessment. When my dad and I watched the game yesterday, my dad is a Ravens fan, he talked about how bad the o-line was the whole and not giving Kenny any time to make a play instead of saying that Kenny sucks.
