And the sooner Monty realizes this, the better off we’ll be. I don’t care about injuries, Beef Stew at the 5 has lost us idk how many games going back to last year, he should never be put in that position unless the other team has went super small. His high motor doesn’t make up for his lack of height, and 15in vertical. It’s instant layup lines for the other team, or offensive rebounds if they miraculously miss.

Leaving Bags on the bench for the last 9 minutes was so insane, you’d think Monty forgot about him.

We’re watching a man coach like someone who wanted to take a year off…

I mean… he’s bigger than Ben Wallace. Ben Wallace helped slow down Shaq.

This isn’t the 90s and 80s. Teams are playing a big center AND power forward like they used to.

Hakeem and Sampson or Hakeem and Thorpe.

    Ewing and Oakley.

Robinson and Rodman or later Dunan.

    Eaton and Malone.

There’s usually one big out there, and sometimes not even that.

Beef stew CAN play center and power forward (we’ve seen him do it for several years). And he might be be ideal in every match-up, but with the way he is shooting threes, it’s great to have him as a stretch 4.

Besides, it’s not like Monty is playing Beef Stew there as a first option: Duren is injured.
