Sullivan was the OC for Tampa Bay in 2012-13. They had 6 games over 400 yards (2 over 500) and the team had an average of 24.3ppg (13th). The quarterback was Josh Freeman who threw 27 TDs to 17 INTs at 55% completion.
He was then the OC for the Giants in 2016-17. They had 4 games over 400 yards and were averaging 19.4ppg (26th). The quarterback was Eli Manning who threw 26 TDs to 16 INTs at 63% completion.
Not sure what this will mean for KP and the Steelers offence, but thought it was worth a look at Sullivan’s history as an OC.
I mean give us a mid offense like described paired with a great defense that wins the turnover battle frequently, in this sort of hit and miss 2023 league, with a 6-4 record, that’s actually something that could amount to something. Ultimately our o line or Kenny will probably fail us, or Tomlin’s coaching decisions but it looks a little optimistic going forward.
