I’m going to admit to being wrong. I was too hard on the guy. First two games looked like trash to me. The adjustments he has made and the playcalls since week 3 have improved even with losses to Carolina and ATL. The biggest adjustment he made is putting the ball in CJs hands.
Hopefully last week he learned that when he has a 10 point lead its better to hand the ball off than to risk an unnecessary mistake that gives a team a chance to win. We wouldn’t have a 6-4 record without Slowik.
People complain when we run the ball, people complain when we put the ball in CJs hands. No middle ground with this sub, additionally, I’ll never fault Slowik for being aggressive trying to put the game away.
