I know it’s early but after just two seasons, our team looks better than ever. And that’s the second time in exactly 10 years that Tim builds a contender out of a stagnant medium market team. Minny was arguably a much tougher assignment for obvious reasons…

Is Tim really just that good?

    Everyone is going to think about the trade and what we gave up, however…

    League: I think we currently have one of the best, well put together, and innovative teams in the league. Part of that is from Rosas and part Connelly. However, it is Tim’s vision of skilled bigs that is pushing this team and setting a new trend in the league we’re Rosas was much more interested in small ball.

    Franchise history: if you look at the Timberwolves in 2003/2004, our best year, I think this year’s team beats that team. They did it with a bonified 28 year old super star and a ton of really good role players. But our depth right now is deeper than 2003/2004.

    And this is just talking about us. The fact he plucked Jokic out of a crowd and put him in a system that would propell him to be the best player in the league… Tim Connelly has outsmarted the league, been an innovator, and is the best executive in the league.

    And he did all this in two small markets.
