Can someone explain why you waived Calvin “Doc” ThrockMorton?

It really doesn’t make sense at face value for a team that struggles with interior pressure to cut the one interior lineman who hadn’t allowed a sack, and seemed to be holding up OK. Furthermore, multiple teams including the 49ers tried claiming him

I saw it speculated that it may have been a front office move to force a younger player who was struggling into action?

    The roster construct makes no sense if you have an undersized QB you need good interior guys so he has space to throw. The Saints had the best guards and center in the league when they had Breese. This is why Im confident we‘ll win Sunday, the strength of our team is our interior DL; Simmons, Autry, Tart dominate good lines, and that’s your weakness. I think you’ll have to run a bunch.

      Derrick Brown (DT) will give any Olineman a full day at the office. But he’s a one man show on the Dline. We have no one else.

      Yes, you are correct regarding the Saints. The Panthers changed the Oline scheme to build it around Bryce, but lack the players to make it work in that Oline scheme.

      We can’t run or pass effectively on offense and struggle against the run on defense.

      We have no true RB1, WR1, WR2. Thielen is our passing game out of the slot.

      Titans are the stronger team hands down.

      There’s a shit ton of other reasons we’re not going to win Sunday, with our OL being one small piece of the overall garbage fire we have.
