You’re missing that Red-Mid is highly insentivized to play Bot while Blue-Mid is highly insentivized to play top and therefore controll their respective sides Vision due to the walls.

With Bot probably remaining overtuned in raw power that makes Red-Mid much more relevant than Blue-Mid.

Also when Blue-JGL wants to take the path you mentioned he would have to walk through terrain controlled by Red-Mid.
