I agree. I loved Infamous First Light, and Miles Morales. they were big games in comparison to the main titles they borrow from, but rather short form standalone side stories more so. They were interesting, compelling, and gave you something interesting to hold you off while you waited for the next game. Plus it wasnt just DLC for an existing game you already owned so they were able to experiment with it just a tad bit more to give it its own identity.
Honestly, I kind of miss how some major games from the 00s had a bunch of little spinoff titles and side stories outside of the main line games. Sony used to be real good about this with Jak & Daxter, Ratchet & Clank, and Sly
