I want to hear legitimate arguments with premises based on hard facts and conclusions as to why Mac should continue to start. I don’t want to hear opinions, excuses, and folk tales. I want factual information and supporting details as to why you think Mac should be the starter. My argument is simple. When Zappe has had the chance to prepare as the starter he has won. Giving a backup fewer reps and then throwing him into the game doesn’t go well historically in the league. Two QB rotations died out in the 90’s because people realized they don’t work in the NFL. Belichick admitted that in 2001 when the Patriots lost to the Saints one of the biggest issues was only giving Brady half of the reps and then he realized he had to give Bledsoe limited reps if the team was going to move forward. Bill is on the record saying that splitting reps at that position isn’t great. Why should Mac and Zappe be splitting reps at this point? Why not give Zappe a chance to just prepare as the starter considering he is 2-0 and this season is done in terms of the playoffs? Why not see what you have? I’d be open to Malik getting reps too. We know who Mac is at this point.

Bruh, they’re 2-9. No one gives a fuck who’s starting at this point.
