  • He’s consistently been open. Have you seen Mac lobbing the ball up nowhere within his vicinity? Mac missed him on open touchdown passes in the Commanders and Colts games in back to back weeks. He didn’t simply forget how to play from his time in Miami. He’s been doing his job and has been surprisingly good in the run game. The Op is making the same mistake people made with Jonu Smith last year. People were saying Jonu was terrible… then he went to a somewhat coherent offense and looks like a legitimate top TE again. Gesicki is a victim of having poor quarterback play around him.

  • I’ve noticed this continued deal where if the QB is horrible and puts these receivers in horrible situations people look bad the receivers must be “useless”. I push back on the idea of Gesicki being useless for example. Against the Colts and Commanders the man ran his routes perfectly… was wide open on touchdown passes in each game… and the QB missed him. The OP is making the same mistake that people made last year about Jonu Smith. Jonu was useless… until he went to a somewhat functioning offense in Atlanta. Outside of Parker, we’d likely be singing a different tune about these guys if the quarterback was mildly competent.

  • No. The purpose of this video was simply to show how the demos of an MVP show up on the platform. If you need a MVP built we can build that and host it on the platform so that you can attract customers to test it out and also attract investment. Depending on what you need, we could build a MVP in a week or so for you and showcase it.

  • Great question! Based on the description I gave above, it varies based on what someone wants since it is a company that helps people launch. There is no set stack since companies in the software industry vary. Building a new feature for Google is going to involve a different Stack than building a new feature for Facebook. I do want to probably create a language in Python to handle the automated flows when DemoDog creates the app builder no-code solution though along with Postgres and AWS. None of those tools are used today obviously though since the code is not AI generated today. If a company had a deal with Google for example, we’d have to host it that way. If they have a deal with Microsoft, we have to build it differently. There is no set stack, but the generative AI language for people to build their own apps will likely be in Python.

  • Mac should not be active… Like, he shouldn’t be on the active roster and I think fans need to accept that. No one is this bad unless they’re down mentally. He’s down mentally. His body language is that of a defeated man. I’m not a Mac hater, and am saying this out of genuine concern. They need to address his mental health, have him sit out a few weeks, and rebuild him. He’s having a breakdown and can’t play in an NFL game. It’s also risky for his physical health to keep putting him in live games with defensive lineman trying to rip his head off while he’s gone mentally. That’s reckless.

  • I strongly disagree with the notion that there aren’t weapons. There are two running backs who can catch out of the backfield. There are three solid receiving Right Ends who have shown flashes when someone can actually get the ball to them. The young receivers, especially Douglas, have shown flashes. Bourne is solid when healthy. Parker is the only guy who doesn’t cut it IMHO. I’m not saying the weapons are amazing, but they’re not awful. I remember when people said Jonu Smith wasn’t a weapon and that was such a bad signing… and now we see what he’s doing on the Falcons. I think this is an issue of not having a quarterback to actually distribute the ball effectively. Maye would instantly help the guys around him look better. If you put Mac on the chiefs, we’d be saying, “gee, the chiefs need more weapons.”

In terms of Mac specifically, it’s all on the field. Tua showed a baseline level of ability even when he was struggling. He had less than ideal circumstances, but still showed good talent. I remember when they almost beat the Chiefs in 2020. I thought it was nuts that people didn’t believe he’d be good. He just showed a certain baseline level of talent that Mac hasn’t shown. So, if you’re Mac and you don’t have that level of athletic ability; you better at least not make a ton of bad decisions. Mac has objectively made horrendous decisions. I would say that fans tend to overreact, but this is different. His own coaches and people within the organization have lost patience. He’s actually doing things that are beyond the pale that have directly influenced the losing in the last two games. Teddy Bruschi said something interesting about how this reminded him of Bledsoe at the end where the performance gets the ENTIRE DEFENSE DOWN and you ask yourself, “what else can I do if this guy is just going to screw it up?" I am paraphrasing, but it was something along those lines. Even Devin McCourty said before the season that half of the locker room wanted Zappe.

For one, I fully understand being fed up with the Twitter X crowed. Secondly, I agree that fans tend to overreact. Third, I can even agree that the BB hate could be irrational. However, Mac is objectively bad and is losing the support of teammates and the organization. Fans not being thrilled to have him on the team is not an overreaction. I think it’s illogical to say that fans simply getting behind him is going to fix this. There are rational reasons to not believe he’s going to be the QB for the Pats going forward and that’s completely due to his own poor performances.

It’s also time to end the bandaid solutions at QB. This team is going to be drafting in the top 3 potentially if the QB play doesn’t improve. It’s questionable if a top free agent would even want to come to the Pats. People just assume Cousins or someone will come. That’s not promised. Why would Cousins want to come, and can he actually elevate a team in this shape where the margin of error is slim? You draft someone like Drake Maye or Caleb Williams and you develop them within the system to play within themselves and not make mistakes, and grow over time. I do think it’s time to stop playing around with the bandaid fixes and it’s time to just draft an elite talent and build them up to minimize mistakes and then develop from there. Mac is not that guy. He doesn’t take to coaching according to the reports and it shows on the field. He said it himself before the season, “I’m just trying to be like Alabama Mac again.” And that comment tells you everything you need to know about where his head is and why he shouldn’t be the QB. A grown man in the NFL trying to return to his college years is… not living in reality or what you expect from a professional at that position. So, he tries to be “Alabama Mac” which has resulted in him trying to do too much, leading the league in picks, and costing the team the past two games. This is not comparable to Tua his first couple of years. I’ve had teammates from Indiana in the NFL and I’ve never heard guys like Tevin Coleman who had a great college career say, “man, I just want to be Indiana Tevin again.” No serious professional says these things and it shows Mac has to develop some level of maturity to be the starter somewhere. I think the Rams and getting with McVay might be his best fit. Maybe the 49ers take a flyer on him, but they seem to have their QB.

  • Jonnu Smith is actually playing at a really high level in Atlanta. Being on bad offenses in NE appears to have been the problem, not that he’s a bad player. He’s on pace to have the most yards and receptions in a season in his career by far. Sony Michel went on an amazing playoff run and ending to the 2018 season that helped the team win a championship. Chubb would’ve likely been a better pick, but I can’t knock a guy who goes on a championship run as a wasted pick.
