Another limited edition deck with a dead pixel in the center of the screen.

For those in the same or similar boat, should I just set up a return and roll the dice purchasing a new one tonight so that I’m not waiting on an rma? (Yes I know I’d be out of the cost of another deck while waiting for a refund on the first)

As I’m sure plenty of you understand, I’m pissed that a 700$+ device has a glaring dead pixel and adding insult to injury, I just bought a bunch of games during the sale.

I have one dead red subpixel in the upper-right, outside of the 16:9 area on my LE. I’m waiting to see how other people’s RMA experiences go, whether they get a full replacement or a screen swap, and whether the replacements still have dead pixels or get swapped to Samsung panels.

I figure we have a year warranty to submit an RMA, so not in a huge rush. It helps that 90% of games are 16:9 only and the dead pixel just ends up in the black border.

I didn’t even think about the possibility of them swapping just the screens. I also completely forgot about the warranty being longer than the 14 day return period. Duh. Thanks for that!

depends how noticable it is for you honestly. I have one in middle of screen that is super obvious against white and tons of other backgrounds. regular gaming looks like theres a smudge or something distorting colors around it, giving a green tint. Its really bad. on white webpages it sticks out and don’t even need to search for it at all eyes are immediately drawn to it.
