Patriots having a projected top 3 pick is a foreign language to fans like myself. Was born in 2001 and all I’ve known is the Patriots being competitive. Things eventually have to change though and now it’s time to rebuild.
But for the older Patriots fans who witnessed the low years before the dynasty, how does this team compare to them? We had some real stinker years in 90 and 92 winning 3 games combined. Along with a few years of 5-11 and 6-10 throughout those times as well.
Is this the lowest you’ve seen or it still doesn’t compare to some of the pre Brady era Patriots?
So far, this team doesn’t appear to be that bad. This year the team only has three double digit losses and is competitive in nearly every game besides two. Like you said, this is different since the Pats have seen two decades of success this time around though. I think that’s why people might compare this to 1992, but this team is dramatically more competitive based on the scores and outcomes of these games.
