I remember last season after the Kyle Anderson incident and Jaden McDaniels injury, people were calling for Gobert or KAT to be traded. But this season they seem to be on a roll, team chemistry and moral is at an all time high and everyone seems to be gelling well together. We have one of the best defenses in the league, and our offense got significantly better with people finding their fit. Is it too early to say that the Gobert trade was a success? What needs to happen for us to confidently say it was a success?
Kind of a vague question, but I hope it makes sense
This sub group would of rather had Walker Kessler than 3 time DPOY Rudy Gobert 🤣🤣🤣
If we had Kessler, Keyonte George, Vando, and Beasley, we would be a play in team again. We probably wouldn’t have made the play in last year.
I think it’s a pretty fair trade, but if we win a playoff series I would say it’s a damn good trade.
It’s not the bunk role players that we’re sweating. It’s the 4 picks. I’m living it up right now, but if we don’t get it done with Rudy then I’ll be lamenting the trade in a few years when Ant is in his prime and we have no assets to surround him with.
I mean Rudy after this year will have much more trade value. Everyone on ESPN is talking about how he looks better then his old self. KAT’s trade value is climbing like crazy right now.
We got pieces and we still have way more draft capital than a lot of teams hoping to make the Finals.
Also, K George is the first of the 4. He ain’t helping anyone let alone Ant and the Timberwolves.
I don’t know why people put so much value in picks. They more often than not are useless. We’ve been having lottery level picks since KG left us, multiple overall 1st round overall picks…where has that lead us?
