It is just pathetic and tragic at this point what is happening with this game. Ping changes were objectively bad and there was backlash with good points by most of the people. Nothing changed.
Shen community did a 30 days boycott because their champ is an ult bot that has the power level of 2 minions combined yet nothing changed. (expect from some bugs that shouldn’t exist in the first place)
Velkoz community literally went all out to give solid feedback and points on what Velkoz needs in order to become a relevant champ. Azzap gave a bunch of advice on what to change and what not to, because obviously a Challenger otp player should be better at game design than actual game designers, yet all of the stuff he had to say were ignored.
But let’s change Seraphine and Ksante out of knowhere, because people didn’t ask that. Right…
What is going on ? Do they even care about the game at this point ? Feels like these are the first steps to killing the game. And they certainly succeeded in that.
Edit : Also no, this is not about hating Phreak again, it is about Riot not listeing to their community at all whatsoever.
From what I saw, he just wants to create his own version of Vel’koz as he is also a game designer.
Some of his ideas require nerfing support to make him a better mid, being Challenger Vel’koz otp doesn’t give him any rights to shift the whole player base’s role as if only his community’s opinion matters.
And some of his ideas are very toxic like gaining infinite scaling damage vs a champ when you proc passive. Spam spells on a poor guy whole game and blow him up in a second late game.
He also wants to get a new mechanic like an empowered spell. I think asking this much for a champion while they are releasing a new champ and redesigning the map and items is too much.
