This is an attempt to learn and hear everyones thoughts so please be kind, even though I seem like a dummy. :)
What are your thoughts on what Philly will do to Travis Kelce to cover him? Now, I haven’t watched the games again, but it seemed the Dolphins and Broncos both double and triple teamed Travis- Rich Risen said Miami was “mauling” him - which forces Pat to attempt throws to the other receivers, who can’t be trusted not to eff it up. Is this what teams have figured out they need to do to eliminate 87 as a threat? He had low production those last 2 games. Is this worrisome at all?
I welcome as detailed as answers as possible…
If they’re putting 2 or 3 sets of eyes on Kelce, not only should our WRs have a much easier time getting open, but also Pat should be able to gash them on the ground a good handful of times and force them to true up a bit.
I’d love love LOVE to see a couple of deep connections with one or two of our speed guys over the top. MVS is just so soft at the point of the catch that if it’s contested at all, he’s not coming down with it. Unlike when we had Tyreek and that dude may not be tall but he’s stout like a fucking fire hydrant and could just out muscle DBs. So either MVS needs to step up in that area (he probably won’t, he’s been around long enough that he is what he is) or one or two young’uns needs to graduate to big boy WR school sooner rather than later.
