I’ve seen some bad takes, but wow.

Nuke it from orbit. It’s the only way to be sure.
WE’RE #1!!!
Fuck it, split McKinnon out wide opposite Rice, with Pacheco and Kelce.
Make something happen.
Send Skyy and Watson packing. Tonight if it makes the plane ride home cheaper.
Keep Toney around for gadget plays and some occasional PR magic.
And reload like a motherfucker in the offseason.
If they’re putting 2 or 3 sets of eyes on Kelce, not only should our WRs have a much easier time getting open, but also Pat should be able to gash them on the ground a good handful of times and force them to true up a bit.
I’d love love LOVE to see a couple of deep connections with one or two of our speed guys over the top. MVS is just so soft at the point of the catch that if it’s contested at all, he’s not coming down with it. Unlike when we had Tyreek and that dude may not be tall but he’s stout like a fucking fire hydrant and could just out muscle DBs. So either MVS needs to step up in that area (he probably won’t, he’s been around long enough that he is what he is) or one or two young’uns needs to graduate to big boy WR school sooner rather than later.
Life was so much simpler 10 minutes ago when I didn’t know this.
I mean…Rich Bisaccia
Right now our 5 biggest cap hits are Mahomes -> Jones -> Kelce -> Thuney -> Reid
I dunno. I mean technically you could restructure any of them, have a bit more space now, and make it even that much worse in the years after this. But dang.
It’s not a fair weather fan thing. It’s an availability of resources thing.
Cap space is a major factor. Yes there’s the possibility of shuffling money to bonuses and spreading it out over 5 years, etc. But that becomes like a sugar rush economy situation where you hope to enjoy the quick high then hamstring yourself for the long term, and the more you do it the worse it gets.
Plus - Andy’s offense is notoriously hard for WRs to digest and takes a good bit of time, even for vets. Other than using someone for a few situational gadget plays (like Toney late last season).
I’m 110% for improving the team anywhere and everywhere we can. But it seems like an awful lot of people think this is just like a game of Madden where you can basically trade for anyone, and real life just doesn’t work that way.
This.
