So my wife had this experience with Valves returning the product:
- She ordered Deck 17th october.
- The Deck arrived 25th october.
- 2nd november was new deck released (thus the original Decks price lowered by 230€).
- The EU law return policy says that 14 days after delivery the customer can return the product without reason.
- 25th october + 14 days = 8th november for returning.
- My wife contacted Valve for getting the 230€ discount on Deck or returning the Deck 10th november.
- The Valve rejected.
Yes, she was 2 days late. If the 14 days return policy counts since ordering (which makes no sense bcs of shipment time), than she was 8 days late.
What is your experience with the return policy of Valve?
The thing is we wouldnt consider returning of Valve would not all of sudden come out with new Deck.
That’s 100% more of a reason for them to stand by their policy. Old SKUs need to sell.
Agree. We kinda feel cheated that we payd 230€ more just bcs we were not checking news all the time.
