Our o line is so bad that it’s hard to run the ball. Therefore, we run via the pass. West coast offense
I’m surprised our receivers are ranked so low, honestly.
After researching, those rankings are ridiculous.
Terry is 22nd, Dotson is 70, Logan is 72, and Samuel is 76 in yards.
To be fair, JJ has been out for weeks, waddle has been shaken up in quite a few games and Kelce just doesn’t have to energy to ball out and bang t swift.
Keller was out a game + a bye week. And he doesn’t have the energy to blow Taylor’s back out + ball out.
I agree. Byron Pringle is the reason for his success.
Woo hoo that’s my post
So… there is a high correlation with having the most past attempts and in turn having the most passing yards.
There is also a high correlation with having the most passing attempts and being a hall of famer.
So people are not wrong in making the connection, but they are ignoring the fact that normally if you are able to have the most attempts and yards you are more than likely not a scrub.

Yes I agree it’s because he has Byron Pringle
Can’t we have nuance, can’t it be a little of both?
On the one hand you can take a QB that we think is worse than howell and pose the question - would X player put up these numbers simply being in EB’s offense? Would ridder? Would pickett? Would Mac Jones?
But you also have to concede that EB and the offensive play calling contribute to Sam’s numbers. He has to be competent for sure, but its a system that wants to pass the ball. they want to pass for long TDs, they want to pass on 4th and 1 - that will rack up yardage.
So I think he is being helped by EB’s system as far as yardage totals, but if he wasn’t playing at a high level he wouldn’t complete so many passes.
Also look at how much he does off schedule. Presumably EB isn’t planning for that. Those are examples of failed plays that he turns into positive ones based on just his ability. The first TD on Sunday is a good example.
That take is really silly I agree. It’s not like we are playing in the big 12 and padding passing stats. If a pass heavy offense is so easy more QBs would do it. What would the Jets offense look like if they threw 40-50 times per game?
All good points! However if those stats translate into winning, then it wouldn’t be a problem.
He has Byron Pringle.
Honestly? My thoughts are I wish people would stop talking about it and just enjoy. Having discussions is fine. Beating it to death over and over is annoying and pointless.
