When it’s offseason and the Bills miss the playoffs and fans and players are pissed who has the real power? I think it’s Allen, McD then Beane. I wish it was Beane, Allen then McD. But when the shit hits the fan and the owner is 1 on 1 in a room with each of these guys I think it goes A,M,B.

This is the exact reason it was dorsey that had to go. Bottom line is that unless Allen pulls a deshaun Watson, he isn’t going anywhere, ever.

That’s my view, and how it should be. Especially with the trend of pairing franchise qbs with offensive HCs. I want Beanes good drafting to continue and I want him to pick the new HC if McD gets the axe. Unless shit just completely falls apart though, I feel like McDermott gets another year unfortunately.

Technically the Peguals. If they wanted to fire/trade everyone today they could. But not counting the owners, probably Allen

Reality is buffalo is a small market team so getting a star through free agency is slim, he’s the best QB since Jim Kelly, he plays the most important position in a sport that has become more QB reliant and he’s the face of the team/company

Josh’s salary counts against the cap and they bet on him big time, the other 2 don’t. If push truly came to shove, Josh being traded or cut would cripple the team for years. That circumstances alone gives him a ton of “power”.

After that I would say Beane. He holds the personnel decisions etc and can easily say McD isn’t doing his job with the talent collected.

I think McD signed his pink slip tbh. Allen wanted Dorsey, and if Allen gets unhappy and wants a trade, that’s the last thing Beane can allow.

I like this question. I would say follow the money. Terry is paying josh a quarter billy. Josh would win in a dick swinging contest if it reallyyyy came down to it.

It should be Allen, but I’m not sure he wields that power as much as he could. McDermott would be my guess. He’s the first to arrive, helped stabilize then turnaround a flailing organization. I’d guess that he carries the most weight with Pegula.

Allen probably, but he won’t exert it. He is loved above the others for sure.

As to Beane and McDermott, Beane is probably in a better position because despite a few draft misses, he can point to a hell of a deep defensive roster and other excellent players he brought in and say “my job is to give McDermott good players he asked for and I have done that.”

So i don’t think its really a talent problem, even if they could use another WR. I think that is the product of McDermott wanting his defensive personnel more than wanting more offensive weapons.
