Yeah, we know Bill Parcells said “You are what your record says you are.”

But which to teams do you feel are not what their record says they are?

Better than record: Cardinals only because Kyler Murray is back

Worse than record: Steelers whose luck will run out any week now. Right guys? Any week now.

    Better: Houston

Worse: Probably us Jags. The offense has no rhythm

I think the Packers are actually SLIGHTLY, EVER SO SLIGHTLY, better than our record implies. Most of our games, even the disappointing loss to Detroit where they embarrassed us, is a Romeo Doubs not abandoning his route and Quay Walker jump away from being a 27-30 game instead of 20-34. Theyve also battled back in every game to be in scoring position at the end of the game. They just don’t have the experience and cohesion on offense to actually win those games and Joe Barry is the Defensive Coordinator.

if yall had a better qb i would agree. he can’t hit the broad side of a barn. he’s not even the 4th best qb in this division, that’s how bad his play has been. so much talent on that roster

If that’s your opinion you’re objectively wrong. I know I’m a packers fan so I’m of course biased. The Steelers game and Rams games he was 100x better with accuracy and his deep ball. I think he’s too much in his head. Hopefully more experience and he gets out of it. He has the arm talent, but he LOOKS like he’s thinking and he just needs to rip it. He’s objectively better than Fields. But Goff is definitely number 1 in the division. People keep forgetting the dude hasn’t played real football in 4 fucking years, he’s played 12.5 games and some garbage time since he played in December of 2019. Gotta give him the season and next before we make any finalized judgments. He’s playing better than Fields and fields has 3 seasons on him starting.

Obviously I am biased, but I do think that the 49ers are better than their record. should be 7-2 and really could be 8-1. We deserved to lose all 3, no excuses or anything, but this team is better than every team they’ve played so far. But now we are somehow barely fighting for the lead in our own division.

Fun fact: or not so fun fact: you decide:

Since the beginning of 2014 season, the Steelers have played the second most one-score games through week 10 of this (95) in the AFC (I’m too lazy to compile the stats for the NFC) only to the chargers (98).

They have the best win percentage, in the AFC, in one-score games at .674. The dolphins are second at .625. The chargers are 12th at .429 over that time span.

I think we’ve had a lead in 8 out of our 9 games with under 4 minutes to play this season.

    We’re 4-5.

I saw a stat today that was win probability added by opponents dropping interceptions, dropping their own passes, missing field goals, and fumble recoveries (either team). By that combined the metric the chargers were the luckiest team in the league

Should’ve won the Bengals and Steelers games.

Better than record: Texans and Bengals have lost games they shouldn’t have and both can be explosive on offense. Jets with Rodgers would be 7-2 right now, in my opinion. Chargers have had some unfortunate losses that could have easily gone their way.

Worse than record: Steelers, I’m not impressed after seeing them barely beat my garbage team. Commanders have only beat bad teams, being so close to .500 is misleading. Lions are 1-2 against teams who currently have a winning record. If they had a tougher schedule, they’d be closer to .500. They’re definitely better than the Lions we’re all used to but I don’t think they’re 7-2 good.

Jets are way worse than 4-5, I’d argue they should be 1-8, but at best they should be 2-7.

I think the 6-4 Vikings are better than their record honestly. The insanely bad/unlucky turnovers earlier in the year practically had them start 0-3 but they were still 1 score games. Take away just 2 of those fumbles and they’re prolly sitting at 8-2. Dobbs is playing bonkers and Flores has this defense borderline top 10. Just absolutely madness
